Chatter is a Social Media application where the user can connect with people through Groups to give him or her a sense of identity. Chatter is similar to a newspaper in the sense that the news is broken up into different categories, or as we like to call them "Chattegories."

In Chatter, we define a group as any affiliation with two or more people. These groups can either be public or private and can serve any purpose the user desires.

Before you create a post in Chatter, the user must first determine what "Chattegory" the post falls under. This will make the post easier to find and the user will be able to find more posts like it.

Most social networks contain a "favorite" or "like" option while looking at a post, but in Chatter when you favorite a post, it is saved for the user to reference later.
